Can I be fired for filing a workers’ comp claim?

The answer is NO.

caused by your job.

However, if you have been fired after filing a workers’ comp claim, don’t wait  ,contact an employment attorney immediately. You Have the right to file a retaliation complaint with California’s Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE) or pursue a wrongful termination lawsuit to seek reinstatement, back pay, or damages.
